Worldwide School has been offering preparation for Cambridge FCE and CAE exams regularly since 2000. We offer the classes three times a year in the 12 weeks (or 9 weeks) leading up to the exams. The classes are open to strong upper intermediate level students and above and we encourage highly motivated students to join. All students are tested before they are accepted into the class. (Pre enrolment tests are available for selected agents.) We only accept students who have a chance of passing the test. Students are expected to work hard!

The Cambridge exams are the oldest English exams and are most famous in Europe and South America. The majority of students who take the class are from these parts of the world.
The clear difference between the Cambridge exams and other English exams, such as TOEIC, IELTS and TOEFL is that there are five papers in a Cambridge exam including reading, writing, listening, speaking and use of English so it is the only exam that tests all aspects of English proficiency. The advantage here is that students who are weak in one or two areas still have a good chance to pass the exam by doing well in the other areas as the exams are marked with an overall score. Another important difference is that your score on the Cambridge exam is valid for life. Most other exams need to be retaken after only two or three years to remain valid.

Students who prepare for FCE and CAE in Worldwide School can expect to do well in the exam. We have a very high pass rate of over 95%, one of the highest rates in the world. Our Cambridge teachers are highly experienced. The classes always have a great atmosphere as the same group of students study together for the entire period. Teamwork is very important and the students work together to ensure that everyone achieves the best result possible. Another good reason to study Cambridge at Worldwide School is that we have a large number of FCE and CAE resources in our school library. Students are encouraged to use the extra resources in the library. There is always a staff member in the library who can help students with their work.

Many of our successful students have gone on to use their English in their work.
