IELTS
Academic English at Worldwide School
We run 3 levels of IELTS classes: IELTS 3, IELTS 4 and IELTS 5.
All are full-time classes and tuition fees are the same as General English fees although students are required to buy a text book.
IELTS 3 and IELTS 4 are for students who are at an intermediate level but are interested in a more academic English focus and possibly doing the IELTS exam in the future. These classes start every Monday.
IELTS 5 is for students requiring an IELTS score of 5.0 to 6.5 or more and need to take the exam at the end of the course. This class is offered in 8 week cycles and course intakes are only in Week 1 and Week 5 of the course.
Classes run from Monday to Friday: 9am - 3.30pm
(with a practice exam every Friday afternoon)
The IELTS exam is produced by Cambridge ESOL and is available at least monthly in Auckland. In 2012 the exam costs NZ$365.
