Wine tasting activity

In March we had the NZ School of Food & Wine visit us and run a wine tasting and appreciation class. The class was full with 22 students learning (and tasting!!) lots of different kinds of white and red wines from around New Zealand.

Valentine Party 2010

On February 10th we had our annual Valentine Party for staff and students. About 160 had a great time. Pizza, drinks, games and prizes for best costumes.

2009 Muriwai Xmas BBQ party

On Thursday 17th December Worldwide School students and staff went to Muriwai beach on the West Coast of Auckland of our annual Xmas party. We had great weather, bbq, games, Santa and sun!

Nori gets married

On Saturday December 5th Nori, Worldwide School's Japanese staff, got married to her boyfriend, Alastair. The wedding was beautiful. Congratulations to them both.

Halloween Party!!!! On 28th October students dressed up in their scariest costume and had a paaaaaaartyyyyy! As usual all had a great time and some students won prizes for the best costumes.

20th Birthday party

Good bye and Good luck Matthias

Matthias Benz was a student and then administration staff member at Worldwide School. He has now gone back to Germany to take the CPE exam and then will try life in Australia. We wish him the best of luck with his future plans and hope that one day they include coming back to NZ and to Worldwide School!

Worldwide United Soccer Team win again

The Worldwide School soccer team played LSI in November and beat them. A great game!

The Worldwide School soccer team played a great game against Language Studies International on Monday the 10th of November. We won 3-2. Congratulations to all who played, particularly to the female members of the team, who displayed no fear or hesitation when taking on the male dominated opposition. Our nationality mix and the number of our female players definitely make us unique. We are very proud of the way that our team showed great sportsmanship and support for each other during the game.
